FAQ

Regarding UNU intensive courses, how many lectures can be missed to still be eligible for completion?

UNU has a 70% attendance policy. However, it is strongly advised for students in these intensive courses to complete all the sessions as missing even one session might affect the consistency of their learning, as each session covers a very significant component of the course.

Is it possible to audit lectures at UNU? (i.e. not register for the courses, but still attend the lectures)

UNU does not allow audits.

Will these courses be organized regularly each semester?

No, for further information, please contact relevant contact points at each university.

Do GSFS students need to take 4 additional credits to complete the diploma program, or can they be counted from courses already taken?

These credits can be from courses already taken at GSFS (i.e. it is possible to double count the credits at GSFS)

Do I need a recommendation letter when applying for the UNU courses?

GSFS students do not need recommendations, just put NA in the respective box when making online application so you can proceed and complete the process.

If I would like to drop off the courses for JD, what should I do first?

Please make sure to send an email to GSFS JD Office.
